Essential Home Plans administers eligible residential protection plans for heating, cooling, plumbing, and related home equipment. Coverage is governed by the applicable protection agreement and may include exclusions and limitations.
Customer Responsibilities

- Properly maintain covered equipment where required
- Promptly report service issues
- Pay all applicable fees when due
Recurring Payments
Where applicable, customers authorize recurring payments in accordance with their protection agreement and payment authorization.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Essential Home Plans is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this website or our services.
Cancellation
Cancellation rights are set out in your protection agreement, including any statutory cooling-off period that applies in your province. Contact Customer Care and we will confirm the terms that apply to your agreement.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the province in which the covered property is located and the applicable laws of Canada.
Home Maintenance Plan Terms and Conditions
The full Home Maintenance Plan (HMP) Terms and Conditions form part of your protection agreement and are provided with it at enrolment. Call Customer Care and we will send you a copy of the version that applies to your agreement.
